THE AREA
The village of Bol is located on the south side of the island of Brac. Brac is very good connected with the town of Split through its extensive ferry service. There are several ferries available every hour during the whole year. Bol has a rich cultural history, a village centre of old stone houses built in a Mediterranean style, a fish and fruit piazza in the village centre, and most important of all, friendly people with local charm and hospitality. Bol is one of the largest villages on the island of Brac, and it has approximately 2 000 citizens.

In Bol you will find many good restaurants, museums and art galleries that are located in the centre of the village. A small promenade stretches from the village centre to the famous beach "the Golden Horn" just outside Bol.
